BuzzForUs Community Guidelines

These Community Guidelines apply to reviews, comments, event submissions, photos, reports, profile content, and any other content or activity on BuzzForUs.
1. Core Rule
Use BFU to discover and share local events. Do not use BFU to harm, harass, mislead, spam, impersonate, exploit, or attack others.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not submit, post, upload, or promote content that includes:
- nudity, pornography, sexual services, or sexualized adult content;
- harassment, bullying, threats, or abuse;
- hate speech or attacks based on protected characteristics;
- violence, threats, or incitement;
- illegal activity or instructions for illegal activity;
- drug promotion or unlawful drug-related activity;
- weapons promotion or unsafe weapons-related activity;
- scams, fraud, phishing, or misleading offers;
- spam, repetitive posts, or irrelevant promotions;
- false or misleading event information;
- copyrighted material you do not have rights to use;
- trademark misuse or brand impersonation;
- impersonation of a person, business, organizer, venue, school, city, agency, or organization;
- doxxing or private personal information;
- defamatory factual accusations;
- malware, malicious files, or harmful links;
- content designed to evade moderation.
3. Reviews
Reviews must be relevant to the event or event experience.
Reviews may mention businesses, venues, organizers, or event staff only when relevant and lawful.
Do not use reviews to:
- send private messages;
- harass or threaten others;
- publish private contact information;
- make unsupported accusations of crimes or misconduct;
- extort a business, venue, organizer, or user;
- coordinate review bombing;
- post unrelated promotions;
- spam keywords or links.
4. Photos
Photos must be relevant to the event or submitted event.
Do not upload photos that you do not own or have permission to use.
Do not upload photos containing nudity, sexual content, harassment, private information, malware, copyrighted material you cannot use, or content that violates another person's privacy or publicity rights.
5. Event Submissions
Submitted events must be lawful, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and relevant to local event discovery.
Do not submit fake events, misleading events, adult sexual events, scams, spam, or events that violate BFU policies.
6. Reporting
Users may report content or users that violate BFU policies. Abuse of the reporting system may result in account restrictions.
7. Blocking and Hiding
Users may be given tools to block, hide, or reduce visibility of other users or user content. Blocking or hiding does not guarantee that all content will disappear from all areas of the Service.
8. Moderation
BFU may use automated tools, AI moderation, malware scanning, user reports, admin review, and manual moderation.
BFU may approve, reject, hide, remove, demote, edit, restrict, or delete content at any time. BFU may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts for violations.
Moderation decisions are final unless BFU chooses otherwise.
