Event Submission Terms
BuzzForUs Event Submission Terms
Effective Date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]
These Event Submission Terms apply when you submit an event, event image, flyer, link, venue detail, correction, or related material to BuzzForUs.
1. Account Required
You must be at least 18 and logged in to submit an event. BFU may reject submissions from restricted accounts.
2. No Guarantee of Publication
Submitting an event does not guarantee that BFU will publish it. BFU may approve, reject, edit, rewrite, summarize, categorize, reformat, hide, or remove submissions at any time.
3. Your Responsibilities
By submitting an event, you represent and warrant that:
- the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- the event is real and lawful;
- the submission is not misleading, fraudulent, spam, or impersonation;
- you have the right to submit all text, images, flyers, links, and other materials;
- the submission does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, or other rights;
- the submission does not contain malware or unsafe files;
- the submission complies with BFU Terms, Community Guidelines, and applicable law.
4. Event Images and Flyers
If you upload an image or flyer, you must own it or have permission to use it. BFU may scan, moderate, crop, resize, reformat, compress, remove metadata, reject, or remove uploaded media.
BFU may use generic placeholders instead of uploaded or source images.
5. License to BFU
You retain ownership of materials you submit, but you grant BFU a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, copy, display, publish, distribute, transmit, reformat, resize, crop, edit, translate, summarize, create previews, moderate, remove, use, and otherwise process your submitted materials in connection with operating, improving, protecting, promoting, and providing BFU.
6. Review and Moderation
BFU may review submissions using automated systems, AI tools, malware scanning, manual review, and admin judgment.
BFU may reject or remove submissions without explanation. BFU is not required to provide an appeal.
7. Source and Organizer Requests
Organizers, venues, source owners, public agencies, schools, libraries, and other rights holders may request correction, review, exclusion, or removal of event listings. BFU may require proof before acting.
8. Paid or Promoted Events
BFU is free at launch. If paid event submissions, promoted listings, subscriptions, or organizer features are added later, additional payment, refund, and platform terms may apply.
9. Removal and Refunds
BFU may remove an approved event later. If a future paid submission is rejected or cancelled under a refund-eligible policy, BFU may provide a refund according to the applicable payment terms.
10. Event Accuracy
Users must verify event details with the organizer or source before attending. BFU does not guarantee event accuracy, safety, availability, price, cancellation status, age restrictions, parking, or third-party conduct.
