1. Scope

This Notice explains BFU notification features.

2. Saved-Event Reminders

At launch, saved-event reminders are expected to be local/on-device reminders. The default reminder may be one hour before the event, and users may be able to change the reminder time within supported settings.

3. No Server Push Tokens at Launch

BFU does not plan to store backend push tokens at launch.

4. Deferred Notifications

BFU may later support additional notifications, including submitted-event approval or rejection, saved-event cancellation, new events in favorite categories, account notices, or other notification categories.

5. User Controls

Users may disable supported non-essential notifications through app settings, device settings, or other controls made available by BFU.

6. No Marketing Notifications at Launch

BFU does not plan to send marketing or promotional notifications at launch.

7. Event Accuracy

Reminder notifications do not guarantee that an event is still active, accurate, available, safe, or unchanged. Verify event details with the organizer or source before attending.
